Volkswagen / Skoda / Audi / Cupra

This guide will walk you through setting up your vehicle from the Volkswagen, Škoda, Audi, or CUPRA brand for intelligent charging.

Hybrid vehicles without the ability to define a charging location are currently not supported!

 

✅ Requirements

  • A compatible vehicle from one of the mentioned brands.
  • Your FIN / VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). This is usually found below the windshield on the driver's side or directly in your vehicle app.
  • You are at the location where you will be later charging (e.g., home).

Supported Brands and Models

Electric vehicle models with a Connect license for mobile online services, built after 2019 (Example: ID Series). The following six brands from the Volkswagen Group are supported:

  • Volkswagen Passenger Cars (excluding e-Up!, e-Golf)

  • Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles

  • Škoda

  • Seat

  • Cupra

  • Audi

Supported Markets

European Union, United Kingdom, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.

 

Step 1: Add vehicle to app

  1. Open the app and select "Add device" → "Vehicle".
  2. Select your specific vehicle brand.
  3. Enter your FIN / VIN.
  4. The app will now generate an individual code (e.g. cpv_a1b2c3). Note this down or leave the app open. (not required for CUPRA vehicles)

Step 2: Code in vehicle

Get into your vehicle and start the infotainment system:

  1. Navigate to the Load → Load location menu.
  2. Select "Add new load location".
  3. Select "Use current position".
⚠️ Important: The location must be exactly where the intelligent charging will take place later.

Give the load location name exactly as shown in the app:

cpv_ + [Ihre alphanumerischen Zeichen]

-> For CUPRA vehicles, you can enter the load location without a code

Klicken Sie anschließend auf Save.

Step 3: Automatic synchronization

The app will now automatically synchronize with your vehicle in the background. Please note that optimization is only active at this specific load location.

🏠 Good to know

  • Location-based: Intelligent charging only works at the assigned location.
  • Data connection: If the load location in the vehicle is deleted, access and optimization are no longer possible.

✅ Done! Your vehicle is now correctly set up and ready for intelligent charging.

💡 Tip: If you encounter any issues, please check if the load location in your vehicle still exists and that cpv-Code matches exactly.

Q: Can I control my Volkswagen / Škoda / Audi / CUPRA?
A: Yes, you can control your vehicle with us. Currently, Volkswagen only offers the option to set a maximum charging speed. Adaptive steering is currently not possible.
